How Gang Sheet Pricing Works at Golden DTF

Gang sheet pricing at Golden DTF is based on square inches, not number of designs. Once you understand how the rate tiers work, you can plan orders that bring your cost per transfer down significantly.

How the Rate Is Calculated

Golden DTF prices gang sheets at $0.06 per square inch at the base rate. That rate applies to the full area of the sheet you order, not just the printed portions. There is no surcharge for number of colors, number of designs, or file complexity. A 12x12 sheet (144 sq in) costs $8.64. A 22x24 sheet (528 sq in) costs $31.68. A 22x60 sheet (1,320 sq in) costs $79.20.

Volume Tiers: How the Rate Drops

The per-square-inch rate drops as your order total climbs. Volume tiers are calculated at checkout based on your cart total. You do not need to do anything special to qualify: hit the threshold and the discount applies automatically to the full order. For most production shops ordering two or three sheets at a time, reaching the first discount tier is a regular occurrence.

  • Base rate: $0.06/sq in (no order minimum)
  • $50+ cart: 8% discount (approx $0.055/sq in)
  • Additional tiers continue downward as order value grows
  • Top tier: $0.03/sq in on carts at $3,800+ spend

A Real Example: One 22x24 Sheet

Take a single 22x24 sheet. 22 times 24 equals 528 square inches. At the base rate of $0.06 per square inch, the sheet costs $31.68. Put 20 mixed designs on that sheet and your cost per design is $1.58. If your order total hits $50, the 8% discount brings the sheet to $29.15, dropping the per-design cost to about $1.46. That gap compounds across every order you place.

How to Hit a Tier on Purpose

Knowing where the tiers land lets you plan orders to capture discounts you would otherwise leave behind. If your cart is sitting at $42, adding one 12x12 sheet at $8.64 brings the total to $50.64 and unlocks the first tier on the entire order. That is worth doing if you have any designs sitting in a queue waiting for a dedicated order.

  • Two 22x24 sheets: $63.36, clears $50 tier
  • One 22x60 sheet: $79.20, clears $50 tier on its own
  • One 22x24 plus one 12x12: $40.32 (add a second 12x12 to clear $49)
  • Any combination over $50 qualifies for the first tier discount

Free Shipping and Same-Day Ship

Gang sheet orders over $49 ship free. Same-day shipping goes out on orders placed by 1 pm ET. Both of these matter for production planning. Shops that batch designs into one order rather than spreading them across multiple smaller orders capture the tier discount, skip the shipping charge, and still get the same turnaround speed. That is three wins from one habit worth building.
