The puff cure cycle drives a blowing agent in the ink layer to expand under heat, producing approximately 1.5mm of soft tactile relief that reads as classic puff print without screen setup, screens, or color separations. Best for retro logos, vintage tee programs, hat fronts, and premium apparel branding where a flat DTF would not carry the look.
Puff DTF is fundamentally a single-color process. Unlike standard DTF (full CMYK over a white underbase), puff prints in one chosen ink color across the entire design. Pick from 16 stock puff ink colors at order time. No gradients, no photographic detail, no multi-color separations. The full artwork is rendered in the single color you select.

If the PET film separates before you press the transfer, that is a materials defect, not user error. We track film lot numbers per production run.
