Upload your design and our system auto-detects dimensions and calculates your price. Commercial-grade DTF film with stretch-resistant, wash-durable inks. Ships within 24 hours.

If your customer sits in one of these categories, this is the transfer to quote them. If not, scroll to the alternatives below.
Event decorators printing Halloween, concert, and nightlife apparel where the effect has to read after the house lights drop.
Spirit night and pep rally shops making blackout tees for gyms and stadiums.
Novelty and boutique brands with a single-drop concept that leans on the glow as the selling hook.
Safety programs producing visibility layers for road crews, cyclists, and after-dark event staff.
Kids' apparel decorators printing dinosaurs, stars, and nightlight-themed graphics parents will actually buy twice.
This is where we tell you not to buy. If any of these fit your program, the alternative in the callout is the smarter quote.
Corporate uniform and workwear programs
The green-tinted glow reads as novelty. It undercuts the seriousness of a company logo on a shift shirt.
Full CMYK, calibrated to your PMS.
Photorealistic art and portrait printing
The phosphor layer sits on top of the print and slightly desaturates fine gradients. Colors read a half-shade duller than a straight DTF.
Cleaner color when the daytime print is the point.
Metallic or reflective branding
Glow chemistry is a phosphor, not a mirror. If you need a shine-under-flash effect for a red carpet drop, foil is the answer.
Metallic reflectivity, not phosphorescent glow.
Glow DTF is a full DTF sandwich with a phosphor pigment layer. It presses on the same fabrics as standard DTF and prefers surfaces where the phosphor gets an unobstructed light path.
Presses cleanly on
100% cotton, black and dark charcoal
White underbase carries the print, dark ground makes the glow read at maximum contrast.
50/50 and 60/40 cotton/poly blends
Standard press cycle, no dye migration concerns at 315°F.
Cotton fleece and French terry
Hoodie and crew backs where the glow reads on stage lighting.
Avoid or approach with care
Performance polyester on saturated red or royal
Dye migration under the phosphor layer washes the effect out. Drop press temp to 285°F and cold-peel if you must run it.
Ivory, cream, or heather light fabrics
Low daytime contrast, and the glow effect is much less visible against a light ground.
Same 100-micron DTF film as our standard line, with a strontium aluminate phosphor layer cured on top of the CMYK and white underbase. The phosphor is chemically stable, non-radioactive, and safe for skin contact.
Ink stack: white underbase, CMYK, phosphor, adhesive powder. Total build sits at roughly 0.15 mm.
Charge time: 5 to 10 minutes under ambient or direct sunlight reaches full charge. Sunlight and UV charge fastest.
Glow duration: 4 to 6 hours after full charge, brightest in the first 30 minutes.
Wash durability: 30-plus cycles when pressed correctly and washed inside-out on cold.
Slightly heavier hand than a standard DTF because of the extra phosphor cure. Not stiff, but noticeable under the fingers on a light cotton tee.
Weight
About 15% heavier than standard DTF
Hand
Soft-touch, slight rubberized feel over the phosphor area
Stretch
Tolerates 8% garment stretch before cracking
Peel
Warm peel at 60 seconds after press
Every decoration decision is a tradeoff. Here is how this product stacks up against the products you would compare it to in a quote conversation.
Alternative
You want cleaner CMYK color and don't need the glow effect. Same fabrics, one-third the per-square-inch cost.
View CustomAlternative
You want a shine-under-light effect for a boutique or bridal drop. Foil catches the flash, glow does not.
View GoldAlternative
You want raised dimension and a retro look over a nightlight effect. Puff prints in a single ink color and adds 1.5 mm of relief.
View PuffThese are the recurring jobs behind the orders we see for this product. Not marketing filler, actual production programs.

Nightlight-themed kids' pajamas, onesies, and toddler tees
Safety awareness gear for after-dark road crews and event staff
Escape room, laser tag, and glow bowling promotional merch

Boutique brand one-off drops around a themed release
Each link jumps to that industry's hub with the full decoration workflow and program templates.
Send a print-ready file at 300 DPI. The daytime print is normal CMYK. The phosphor cures across the full inked area, so any pixel that carries ink glows.
File Specifications
Avoid these in artwork
Photorealistic portraits with subtle gradients, the phosphor evens them out
Tiny reversed text under 8 pt, the underbase can bleed into the letterforms
Solid black outside the design silhouette, the phosphor is not deposited outside the print area

Frequently Bought Together
Glow prints at night. These three make sure it also prints correctly in the daylight.
“For sponsor logos and back panels. Glow is a hero effect, not the whole shirt.”

Recommended Alternatives
Here is what to grab instead, and why. We would rather send you to the right product than watch you bounce to a competitor to compare.
Custom DTF Transfers by Size
from $0.06/sq in
Best for short-run apparel and full-color designs
Prefer this if the shirt will not be seen at night. Glow costs 3x more and only matters in the dark.
Gold & Silver Foil DTF Transfers
from $0.12/sq in
Best for metallic accents and luxury branding
Choose this if the customer wants a premium visual effect at any hour. Foil reads day and night.
Specialty Specimen Kit
$19.00
Best for evaluating the specialty UV lineup
Prefer this before you commit to a large glow order. Shows the customer what they are actually buying.
Every Golden DTF order carries the same written guarantee. Email us within 14 days with your order number and a photo, a production lead reviews it within one business day, and approved reprints ship free with tracking. You never re-upload and never re-pay.
If the printed transfer does not reproduce the file you uploaded, allowing for the difference between a backlit screen and printed ink, we reprint it. We calibrate our press against the same target ICC every day and keep a press log for every run.
White ink dropouts, thin black lines that did not lay down, or missing detail from a small text run: if it left our shop that way, we reprint it.
If the PET film separates before you press the transfer, that is a materials defect, not user error. We track film lot numbers per production run.
If our team packed the wrong artwork or produced at the wrong size, we cover the reprint plus the reship.
Upload your design, see your price by the square inch, and get your transfers on the truck the same business day.
