Custom DTF Transfers, Built By People Who Actually Press Them

Ready-to-press CMYK-plus-white transfers on hot-peel film, priced by the square inch and printed for how the shirt is actually going to be worn.

What this is

A production-floor definition, not a spec sheet.

A DTF transfer is a CMYK-plus-white print laid onto PET film, dusted with hot-melt adhesive, cured, and pressed onto a garment. That is the whole trick. What separates a transfer that lasts 60 washes from one that peels at 12 is not the printer, it is the white ink density, the cure profile on the powder, and the person who set the press to 305 F for 12 seconds instead of guessing. We do all three ourselves, on our floor, every day.

Golden DTF prints for one job and does not pretend to do the others. This hub covers our full-color ready-to-press transfers, sold by the square inch or at fixed sizes if you would rather not think in inches. If you need embroidery-look, hard-goods decals, or foil, we make those too, but they live on their own hubs so we can be honest about what they are and are not for.

The transfers on this hub are designed for fabric. They press cleanly on 100% cotton, cotton-poly blends, tri-blends, and cotton fleece. They also press on polyester if you know what you are doing with dye migration, which we explain in the poly blocker guide. Every transfer ships with white ink under the color layer, so dark garments hold the design without ghosting.

We are not the cheapest DTF shop on the internet. We are the one that publishes what fabric, what temp, what press time, what dwell, and what to do when the transfer sticks to the film instead of the shirt. That is the trade-off. Order from us if you want to press it right the first time.

Who this is for

The roles and jobs this hub actually serves.

  • Print shops adding DTF to a screen print or embroidery floor and needing wholesale-tier pricing without a wholesale application (Journey 3).
  • Clothing brand founders launching a first drop on Bella+Canvas 3001 or Comfort Colors 1717 and want the transfer specced to the shirt (Journey 1).
  • Etsy sellers running mixed-color small batches where screen print math never worked (Journey 4).
  • Restaurant and corporate program buyers who need consistent color across dozens of front-of-house shirts (Journey 2, Journey 5).
  • Embroidery shops adding a DTF option so they can quote full-color front prints without turning the job away (Journey 7).
  • School and sports coordinators pressing spirit wear on tri-blends where sublimation would fail (Journey 9).
Best pairings

Every hub connects to real product decisions.

These are the specific transfers, blanks, methods, and programs we would put next to this hub in a real production conversation. Not a link farm. Every row is a pairing we actually recommend.

Don't make these mistakes

Common mistakes that turn a good order into a reprint.

Ordering DTF when embroidery is the right call.

If your art is a left-chest logo on a polo you plan to keep five years, embroidery outlasts DTF and looks more expensive. DTF is right for full-color, right for oversized backs, right for photographic art. It is not right for a small monochrome logo you are going to wash to death. Switch methods before you spend the money.

Sending a 72 DPI file and expecting 300 DPI output.

The printer prints exactly what you upload. If the file is low resolution, the transfer is low resolution. Send 300 DPI at final press size. If you scaled up 10x in Photoshop the day you exported, we will see the softness in production, and so will your customer.

Pressing at 350 F because the internet said so.

Our film is calibrated for 300 to 310 F on cotton and 285 F on tri-blends. Higher is not better. Higher scorches the fabric, thins the white layer, and reduces wash life. If the instruction card says 305, press at 305.

Skipping the cool-peel window on hot-peel film.

Golden DTF ships hot-peel by default because it is faster on production. If you ordered cool-peel by mistake, wait for the film to fully cool before peeling. Peeling hot on a cool-peel film pulls the design off the shirt with the carrier.
