4 to 5 real production transfers pulled straight off the same production line that runs paid orders. Same TPU film, same pigment ink chemistry, same polyamide hot melt powder, same 50 plus wash cycle rating. The only difference is the pack ships a curated assortment of designs, not a customer's own art. The film thickness is standard 30-micron TPU with a 24-micron white ink underbase on colored designs.
Sample pack detail
Each transfer in the pack ranges from roughly 3 by 3 inches to 8 by 10 inches, representing the sizes decorators actually press for pocket, chest, sleeve, and back-print placements. The assortment covers both photographic full-color transfers and single-color vector transfers so you can evaluate our output across the two most common design types decorators route through DTF.
Where the samples apply
- Press the samples on 100% cotton first for the cleanest baseline reference.
- Test on a poly blend and a tri-blend if you decorate those fabrics regularly. DTF behaves the same across substrates but the hand differs by fabric weight.
- Test on your own press at 300 to 325 F for 10 to 15 seconds, medium-firm pressure. Warm peel.
- Wash-test at least one sample: turn inside out, cold water, tumble low, 5 to 10 cycles. Real durability lives in the wash test.

Are these really the same transfers you use on paid orders?
Yes. Identical film, ink, powder, and adhesive. No lower-grade demo material. The only reason we cannot let you pick the design is that curating a mixed pack lets you evaluate our color range and detail resolution more efficiently than a single custom sample would.
How many transfers ship in the free pack?
Four to five transfers per pack. The count varies by which production run the pack draws from. Every pack includes at least one photographic full-color transfer and at least one single-color vector transfer so you can evaluate both output types.
Can I request specific colors or sizes in the pack?
No. The pack is a curated production sample assortment, not a custom order. If you need a specific size or artwork, place a small paid order at the $0.06 per square inch rate. Single-piece orders are welcome and ship in the same 24 hour window.
What is Golden hoping I do after I receive the pack?
Press the samples on your own equipment and evaluate whether our output matches what your workflow needs. If yes, order. If no, you have not spent a dollar. That is the entire point of the pack. Free is not a marketing gimmick, it is a filter that pays for itself when you become a repeat customer.
How long does the free pack take to ship?
Free packs go out via USPS first-class mail within 1 to 2 business days of the request. Delivery typically lands 3 to 5 business days from order across the continental US. Expedited shipping is not available on free samples.
Can I get more than one pack?
One pack per household or business address. The intent is single-buyer evaluation. If your shop has multiple decorators and you need enough samples to train a team, order a paid transfer at production rate. It is not expensive and it lets you specify what your team should evaluate.

Missing ink or dropout
White ink dropouts, thin black lines that did not lay down, or missing detail from a small text run: if it left our shop that way, we reprint it.
Film delamination before press
If the PET film separates before you press the transfer, that is a materials defect, not user error. We track film lot numbers per production run.
