Decorating Corporate Polos with DTF
Corporate accounts expect clean, consistent decoration order after order. DTF handles left-chest logos, sleeve hits, and back prints with the precision those clients require. Here is how to set up a program that runs reliably.

Why DTF Works for Corporate Programs
Corporate accounts typically order in smaller batches than screen printing requires to be cost-effective. DTF has no minimum order and no screen setup fees, which makes it the right tool for a 6-piece onboarding kit or a 25-piece department replenishment.
Print quality on a modern DTF transfer is sharp enough for corporate use. Fine text, small logos, and detailed brand marks reproduce cleanly at sizes down to about 1 inch tall when the source file is properly prepared.
Standard Placement Specs for Polos
Left chest is the most common placement. Standard width runs 3 to 4 inches. Center the print 3 to 4 inches below the collar seam and 4 to 5 inches from the placket. This sits in the traditional brand zone without competing with buttons.
Sleeve hits are typically 2 to 3 inches wide, positioned 1 inch below the sleeve hem. Back yoke prints work for larger logos or taglines: keep them 2 to 3 inches below the collar seam and centered.
- Left chest: 3 to 4 inches wide
- Sleeve hit: 2 to 3 inches wide, 1 inch below hem
- Back yoke: up to 12 inches wide, centered 2 to 3 inches below collar
File Requirements for Corporate Logos
Corporate logos often exist as vector files (SVG, AI, EPS). Use them. Vector source files produce cleaner edges than rasterizing a PDF or a screenshot pulled from the company website.
If the only available file is a PNG or JPEG, check the resolution. Files at 72 DPI will print blurry. You need 300 DPI at the intended print size. A 300 DPI file sized at 1 inch is not the same as a 300 DPI file sized at 4 inches.
Managing Reorders for Consistency
Save every approved transfer as a named file with version numbers. Corporate clients notice if the logo shifts slightly blue or the text weight changes between orders. Consistent file names tied to consistent files prevent that problem.
Golden DTF ships same day on orders placed by 1 pm ET, which means a 5-piece onboarding kit for a new hire can ship the same day HR submits the request.
Pricing a Corporate Polo Program
At $0.06 per square inch, a 3.5-inch left-chest logo (roughly 12 square inches) costs about $0.72 per transfer. At 22% off for a $250 order, that cost drops further.
Charge the corporate client a per-piece applied rate and build in at least a 2.5x markup on the transfer cost. Many decorators running corporate programs bill $3 to $5 per applied left-chest logo on top of the blank garment cost, which produces strong per-piece margin on small batches.
