Rayon also marks under the heavy pressure the full specification calls for, so pressure stays light to medium here and the bond is weaker as a result. The re-press still applies, two to three cycles at the same reduced settings, and it is what stops the metallic cracking after wash. Below the full temperature and pressure the metallic bonds softer and reads less reflective, so a test press on the actual blank is required. A pressing pillow is required and every colorway needs testing before production.
