All Apparel Blanks, Rated Honestly For How They Take A Transfer.
Tees, hoodies, polos, and outerwear from Bella+Canvas, Comfort Colors, Gildan, Next Level, and every brand a real decorator actually stocks. Every SKU annotated for DTF compatibility, fabric weight, and press behavior.
Short version, straight from the floor.
Apparel blanks are the shirts, hoodies, polos, and outerwear you decorate. They are half of a decorated-garment order and every real decorator will tell you they matter more than the transfer. A perfect DTF on a scratchy Gildan 5000 is a scratchy shirt with a nice print.
We are not the cheapest blanks supplier on the internet. SanMar and Alphabroder ship blanks by the truckload at wholesale-decorator pricing. If you are doing ten thousand shirts a year and have a wholesale account already set up, buy your blanks from them and buy your transfers from us. Where we win is on mixed-brand consolidation and low-quantity orders where the SanMar minimum does not apply.
Not every color in every brand is in stock at all times. Fashion colors (asphalt gray, sand, mauve) are seasonal at the manufacturer level. If your job needs a specific color across two hundred pieces, verify in-stock before ordering. We keep the core colors (white, black, heather gray, navy, red) year-round in Bella+Canvas 3001 and Gildan 5000.
Size runs vary by brand. Youth sizes are inconsistent across brands. Bella+Canvas 3001Y and Gildan 5000B both run true-to-size, but their true-to-size is different from each other by roughly a half inch across the chest. If you are ordering youth apparel for a team, pick one brand and stick with it across the roster.
DTF-compatibility is not the same as decoration-compatibility. A shirt can be DTF-compatible and still fail on other methods. A Sport-Tek ST350 is DTF-compatible with a poly blocker layer but is not embroidery-compatible for a bold left-chest logo (the puckering is visible). If your job might change decoration method mid-way, ask us first, do not guess.
A production-floor definition, not a category label.
A B-tier DTF on a Bella+Canvas 3001 is a premium tee your customer will buy again. The blank is not a commodity, it is a decision.
Every blank in this collection is annotated with the details a decorator actually needs. Fabric composition (cotton percentage, poly percentage, rayon percentage). Weight (in ounces per square yard, because grams-per-square-meter is a European unit that reads wrong to American production floors). DTF pressability rating. Available colors. Available sizes. And, critically, whether we recommend the shirt for the job the buyer is describing or whether a different shirt would serve better.
This is a working-catalog collection. It is not curated for aesthetic. It is priced against SanMar and JiffyShirts (the two wholesale-blanks reference points a decorator will use), and it exists so that a customer ordering DTF from Golden can also order the shirts to press onto, without hunting a second supplier. If your run does not need a matching blank, this collection is skippable. If your run does, you save a truck-shipping day and a purchase-order shuffle.
The roles and jobs this collection actually serves.
- Print shops running mixed-brand jobs where a customer needs one job on Bella+Canvas, another on Gildan, another on Comfort Colors, and one supplier is easier than three (Journey 3).
- Brand founders launching a first drop who need premium blanks (Bella+Canvas 3001, Next Level 3600) matched to premium DTF work (Journey 1).
- PTA parents, boosters, and coaches ordering shirts for a team, class, or fundraiser and want to consolidate blanks and decoration into one purchase order (Journey 9).
- Restaurants and corporate program buyers running uniform reorders where garment consistency across staff turnover is the whole point (Journey 2, Journey 5).
- Etsy sellers, hobbyists, and one-person operations ordering low-quantity blanks alongside custom transfers without having to open a SanMar wholesale account.
Specific triggers we hear on the phone every week.
- 01You are ordering DTF transfers with us and want the shirts shipped from one warehouse rather than two.
- 02Your job requires a specific brand or style that a decorator wholesale supplier gates behind a business license or minimum order.
- 03You want a decorator's opinion on whether Bella+Canvas 3001, Next Level 3600, or American Apparel 2001 is the right shirt for a particular design.
- 04You are running a program (uniforms, spirit wear, staff apparel) and need consistent inventory across quarterly reorders.
- 05You want to compare fabric feel across five brands without ordering five separate wholesale samples through JiffyShirts.
Every decoration method has a cost. Here is ours.

Not sure which shirt? Start with Bella+Canvas 3001 in white for adults and heather gray for youth.
Bella+Canvas 3001 is the shirt roughly seven out of ten premium brands print on. White holds the widest color range because there is no dye to interfere with the transfer, and heather gray is the safest neutral for youth apparel because it hides minor pressing inconsistencies. Order fifty pieces in a size run (S through XXL for adults, XS through L for youth), press one transfer on a sample, and once you approve the sample, order the rest of the run. Bella+Canvas 3001 is the shirt least likely to embarrass you.

Answers to what customers ask about this collection.
What is the difference between Bella+Canvas 3001 and Next Level 3600?
Both are premium ringspun cotton tees. Bella+Canvas 3001 is a slightly heavier 4.2 ounce fabric with a more defined shoulder seam. Next Level 3600 is a lighter 4.0 ounce fabric with a more fashion-fit drape. Bella is preferred for streetwear and brand drops. Next Level is preferred for softer boutique feels and often runs slightly cheaper.
Do you stock Comfort Colors year-round or only seasonally?
Core Comfort Colors 1717 colors (white, black, gray, sand, navy, chalky mint) are year-round. Fashion colors (mustard, terracotta, moss) are seasonal and often sell out in Q4. Verify color stock before locking a fall drop.
Can I mix brands on one order?
Yes. Most decorators do. Order Bella+Canvas 3001 for the retail-tier shirts, Gildan 5000 for the staff-and-fundraiser tier, and Sport-Tek ST350 for the performance tier, all on one PO. All three ship together.
Do you offer wholesale pricing on blanks?
Volume tiers apply to blanks the same way they apply to transfers. Above certain thresholds you unlock better per-piece pricing automatically in the cart, no paperwork, no coupon codes. For contract-level pricing (thousands of pieces per month) email us and we will build a standing quote against your monthly usage.
What is the minimum order on blanks?
There is no minimum in this collection. You can order one shirt. Volume tiers apply automatically as your total order value grows.
Order The Shirt And The Transfer. One Truck.
Free ground shipping over forty-nine dollars. Volume tiers auto-apply to the full order (blanks and transfers combined) in the cart. No paperwork gauntlet, no coupon codes, no games. If a shirt arrives with a defect, we replace it.
