PNG is our preferred format. Save with a transparent background (no white square around the design). Target 300 DPI at the final print size. Anything above 150 DPI usually prints clean.

Six Things That Make a File Print Perfect
Vector Files Are Even Better
AI, EPS, SVG, and PDF from vector editors scale without pixelation. If you have the source file, send it. We convert to production-ready PNG on our end at no cost.
Real Blacks, Not RGB Blacks
DTF prints CMYK-adjacent. Set solid black text to true black (0,0,0). Avoid the muddy 4-color black that some design apps default to. We flag and correct on review.
No Hidden White Boxes
PNG exports from certain apps leave a semi-transparent white halo around the artwork. We check every file for this and remove it before printing so the transfer sits invisibly on the garment.
Size for the Garment
Adult chest logos land at 10 to 12 inches wide. Left chest crests are 3.5 to 4 inches wide. Hoodie backs run 11 to 14 inches. Youth sizes drop by roughly 2 inches. Size your art in the ordering tool.
Bleed Is Not Needed
DTF transfers cut to the actual artwork edge. No bleed, no crop marks, no safety margin required. Deliver the art as it should print.

We Check It Automatically
Every upload is measured the moment it lands: file format, file size, pixel dimensions, effective DPI at the size you ordered, whether the shape matches that size, whether there is a transparency channel, and the colour mode. Anything we cannot measure is reported as not checked rather than passed.

You Decide, Or You Ask Us
Problems we can measure are shown to you before you pay. A warning you can accept and we record that you accepted it. A file we cannot print usably at the size you chose is blocked and checkout will not take it. If you want a person to look at the file, ask and we will queue it. That is optional and it is not automatic.
